The Vermont House is located in the picturesque town of Wilmington,VT. The town was founded in 1751 and has been a tourist attraction since the arrival of the railroad in the early 1800's. Travelers have come to experience it's scenic beauty and rural traditions for more than 200 years. There are a variety of small shops and restaurants throughout town. Many reflect the architectural styles of their era. Including Late Colonial(1750 -1788), Federal (1780 - 1820), Queen Anne (1880 - 1900) and Colonial Revival (1880 - 1900). Vermont Routes 9 and 100 intersect in the center of town which affords easy access to all local attractions. There is also a free year-round daily bus service up and down the Valley from Wilmington to West Dover and the Mount Snow ski resort.
